Eternal Darkness is an Empire raiding guild in the game Star Wars: The Old Republic. EtD is focused on pushing end-game content as hard as possible, but at the same time keeping the raiding environment respectful and fun. We seek to break the stereotype of hardcore guilds' raids having more in common with boot camp than gaming. Maximizing gear and performance, adapting to content and fight flow, and efficient communication are still a definite priority, but not at the expense of the fun.
EtD is an evolution of the raiding guild Eternity on the US-Eredar server in World of Warcraft. The officer core is made up of members that have been raiding together for years, perfecting the balance of leadership and chain of command. Most of the members of EtD's raiding core have been raiding end-game content for half a decade or more. Ranks within the guild are granted based on performance and dedication, not on veterancy, and guild bank materials are available to all raid-status members equally.
We are a guild based on long term friendships; everyone knows everyone. Couples are welcome! When someone joins our guild they will be welcomed to our family. The minimum age requirement for EtD is 18 to ensure we have a strong mature foundation, though we do make exceptions from time to time.
Organization is a major part of our guild. Our forums are kept well organized, to allow someone to find information on anything they have questions about in game. The focus on organization extends in-game as well. Guild banks and ranks are organized to the best of our ability in an intuitive and easy to understand structure, and raids and loot distribution are well organized for easy transparency.
EtD is having a large recruitment push currently to build up the raiding team for end-game operations. The forums are currently still in a transition from our old WoW raiding status, so if you find references to WoW, don't panic, we'll update those posts soon!
